Post Graduate Medical admissions in Kerala: Apply by august 20Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram; has invited applications for allotment/admission to Post Graduate Medical (Degree / Diploma) Courses, Kerala -2022 in the State Quota seats in Government Medical Colleges and Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram and to the entire seats including Minority Quota and NRI Quota seats available in Private Self Financing Medical Colleges in Kerala

Eligibility: (a) Academic: Applicants should hold MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate, with permanent/provisional registration with NMC (MCI) or State Medical Council. Applicant should have completed one year of internship by 31st May 2022

(b) Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen of Kerala origin. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will be considered only for the NRI seats. Those who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents, who have obtained MBBS Degree from any of the Medical Colleges in the State of Kerala are also eligible to apply. But they will not be eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disability reservation benefits.

(c)Age: There is no upper age limit. However, for Medical Education service quota candidates, the upper age limit will be 47 years as on 9.8.2022. For Health service quota and Insurance Medical service quota candidates, the upper age limit will be 45 years as on 9.8.2022

(d)Qualifying criteria: Applicant should have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate Courses (NEET PG-2022) conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi obtaining minimum marks as follows: (i) General /EWS category- 50th Percentile- 275 marks out of 800 (ii) SC/ST/SEBC (including PWD of SC/ST/SEBC) – 40th Percentile (245) (iii) UR PwD- 45th Percentile (260).

Selection: Selection will be made from the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala on the basis of NEET PG 2022 rank list, through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Application: Application can be submitted online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in latest by 10 am on 20.08.2022. Prospectus is also available here.

Application Fee for General Candidates and Service Quota candidates is Rs.1000/-. For SC/ST candidates it is is Rs.500/-. Service quota candidates will have to pay an additional amount of Rs.1000/- if they apply for general seat also. Application fee can be remitted Online or by cash at any of the Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala using the e-challan that can be generated during the submission of online application.

After remitting the required application fee, all necessary Certificates/documents as proof for various claims shall also be uploaded within the stipulated time. There is no need to send printout of the application or any documents to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

In-service candidates should send the printout of the application along with printout of the uploaded documents and the required service details to the Head of the department concerned, so as to reach there by 4 pm on 20.08.2022.
