Universities in Kerala to go through 50 main modifications; exam results to be published within 30 days days.
Thiruvananthapuram: the exam reforms commission has submitted a file presenting 50 foremost modifications in higher education examinations. The fee has also proposed to the colleges to he universities to enforce an training mission based on the object of research.

In line with better training minister Dr R Bindu, the recommendations of the commission will be implemented after constituting an executive committee in which the fee members and it experts from all universities could be blanketed.
The major recommendations of the commission are as follows:
- Exam results must be published within 30 days of the last exam.
- Internal exams must be conducted by respective colleges.
- Internal Assessment Results should be published two weeks before the commencement of the last semester exam.
- Evaluation of term-end external exams should be conducted by respective colleges.
- All higher education centres should have a counselling centre.
- Moderation and the double benefit of giving grace marks should be avoided.
- The provisional certificates should be issued within 15 days of publishing exam results.
- Within 30 days of publishing exam results, degree certificates should be issued.
- On-screen revaluation mechanism should be adopted.
- The practice of giving weightage for attendance should be stopped.
- UG PG Admission procedures should be completed within June and July.
- Admissions to PG programmes should be through an entrance exam and by considering its score.
- Exams should not be postponed for any matter other than natural calamities.
- PhD thesis evaluation should be completed within 90 days.
- At least 40 per cent weightage should be given for internal assessment.
